Masterpiece bronze sculpture by prestigious sculptor and decorator of the 19th century. Mathurin Morea was one of the leading French sculptors academic direction, and his work is characterized by an excellent depiction of content tone of the work. In the foreground the artist´s interest has always been the craftsmanship of the product, realistic fidelity and academic nobility, which is very well documented in this sculpture too. His works are represented not only in France but also in Latin America and Canada.
