Circa 1870, Austria, the breech loader half-stock target rifle with octagonal sighted and fluted barell 730 mm long/13 mm bore (9 grooves), signed F. JESTER IN INNSBRUCK with adjustable back-sight, fore-sight with side protection and a base for adjustable rear-sight. Werndl turning- lock engraved on the plate/cock/breech and also the bow trigger-guard and hooked butt-plate with scrolled tang, German type hair-trigger, chequered grip and fore-end, thumbrest.
