Austria, Vienna, circa 1926, porcelain factory Josef Böck, very rare porcelain execution of a butterfly lady, designed by Josef Lorenzl (1892–1950), white porcelain, colorfully painted, marked JB Wien 1926, very nice condition, undamaged, overall dimensions 23 x 9.5 x 9.5 cm.

The Josef Böck Vienna Porcelain manufactory was active between 1828 and 1933. Böck frequently worked with the Wiener Werkstätte, producing porcelain objects by such designers as Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser, Jutta Sika and others. The firm produced porcelain both in historicist styles that were popular in the nineteenth century and the more modern aesthetic of the Viennese Secession and the Wiener Werkstätte.
